Description
The Gai-Haiden (open walled outer worship hall) with a hip-and-gable roof covered in cypress bark thatch has been designated important cultural property. The iron lanterns hanging from the eaves depict the twelve signs of the zodiac.
The Gai-Haiden was first built in 1589, and expanded to current structure at 1840.
