Description
"The traction engine", was the name given to this steam boiler moved by a wheel that, thanks to a series of bands, generated motive power.
This one was used in the saw mill to make the saws work in order to cut log. Oxen used to pull this "mobile boiler" to whereever it was required. It was mainly taken to the workshop in the woods.
